Summary:

We are currently seeking an outgoing, energetic, flexible, friendly and dependable individual to serve as a Customer Support Representative.  You will deliver an outstanding customer experience by creating a warm and welcoming first impression answering incoming calls to the main line and reaching out to new customers. You will also research and maintain much of the company’s prospect and customer data in salesforce.com.  To be successful, you must have an exceptional customer service attitude and a driving sense of responsibility for getting the customer what they want.

Primary Responsibilities:

·         Calls and Emails:

o    Answer the phone and find out what the person calling needs from AlterG. Alternatively, reply to the email to get the necessary information from the sender.

o    Connect the caller or sender directly with the team member best able to help, and be certain that this connection was followed-up within 24 hours.

o    When a team member is not available, take a detailed message and follow-up personally with the responsible person to be certain the callers request was addressed within 24 hours of receiving the call or email.

o    Generate a report weekly on calls and emails received, closing the loop by verifying that they were all returned or replied to that week.

·         New Sales Orders:

o    Review new sales orders for accuracy and complete contact information in Salesforce.com.

o    Call the customer contact responsible for delivery and installation of the AlterG in their facility

o    Coordinate with Operations delivery and installation dates for each customer.

·         Salesforce.com:

o    Research and maintain the integrity of prospect and customer data in Salesforce, assuring that each record is as complete as possible.

o    Triage inbound leads, researching the prospect information, converting qualified leads to accounts, and assigning initial tasks to the account owner.

o    Generate weekly reports of inbound leads and their activities for sales and marketing management.

·         Perform all other duties as assigned.

 

Experience/Qualifications:

·         Experience working in a customer centric sales and service environment.

·         Expert skills working with MS Office applications; Salesforce.com experience essential

·         Professional in appearance and attitude, respectful, honest and team player.

·         Proactive and ability to handle multiple tasks with good organization skills.

·         Strong communication and active listening skills.

·         High school diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred, Associates or Bachelor’s degree would be a plus.
